3-4 garlic bulbs, all cloves peels
1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
fresh herbs

How to Make the Garlic Confit
- Start by peeling apart all of your garlic bulbs until all cloves are separated and free of peel.
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.
- Place the garlic cloves in a small baking dish. Pour over the extra virgin olive oil and arrange the herbs.
- Cover with tinfoil and bake until the garlic is completely soft. 1 hour to 1 hours and 15 minutes.
- Let cool completely and transfer to an airtight container.
Hack: you can buy fresh garlic already peeled in the produce section of your grocery store. Peeling garlic is also a great way to keep little kids busy!
Ways to use Garlic Confit
Garlic confit can be used in so many ways. You can serve it warm with bread, add it to stews and soups or any recipe that calls for garlic. I love how spreadable the warm garlic confit is right out of the oven. Try using it in some of these recipes:
