Although Summer looks a little different this year, we still wanted to give the kids the best of our local area.  We visited the beautiful Seaview Hotel and Resort in Galloway, New Jersey. A quick drive, The Seaview Hotel is under an hour from Philadelphia. With its sprawling green and Gatsby vibes, we had the best weekend.

Before we traveled we reviewed the local area and the hotel’s detailed COVID guidelines and precautions. The resort provided plenty of space to social distance and we had our masks handy for all areas outside of our room. With so many outdoor activities to choose from on the 670 acre property, the Seaview Hotel had us covered for a weekend of R&R.

Our Suite

Our suite at the Seaview was super spacious and the girls loved having a space to their own with what felt like a movie screen (super large TV)! They had so much fun checking out the suite and the in room amenities. The hotel was recently renovated and sparkling clean from the chandeliers to the floors. The bathrooms and closets were super spacious, which I love and the bathroom had a shower and a tub. Tubs are ideal for traveling with kids.

I loved how natural light flooded the rooms with so many large windows. Made for a beautiful place for some downtime between all the fun. The interior of the hotel was also beautiful from the lobby to the common areas. And guess what? The hotel is dog friendly! We took Theo along with us!

The Lawn

The lawn was actually my favorite part of the hotel, being a city girl, with tons of beautifully landscaped space for the girls and dog to run around from morning til sunset. Sunsets were beautiful heading into the weekend as the sky exploded into pinks and purples.

The Pool

The first day of our trip we woke up bright and early and headed to the pool so the girls could be the first ones there. We ordered breakfast by the pool. I ordered pancakes and bacon, with juices and coffee and watched the girls swim. The pool at both ends began at 3 feet and got deeper towards the middle. With little ones I really appreciated this design with stairs at both ends. Plenty of lawn chairs to relax and soft striped towels met us there when we arrived.

Also be sure to check out this Sunflower Field in South Jersey.

The Golf Course

When you’re done with the pool head out to the sprawling golf course at Seaview’s Golf Resort. Grab a cart and enjoy lunch at the Grille on the patio by the course. We enjoyed dinner and it was delicious with plenty of options for the girls, pasta for me of course.

Nearby Attractions

A stone’s throw away is Atlantic City. Atlantic City has so many fun things to do and Seaview is perfect as it provides a gorgeous place to stay outside of the bustle of AC but quick access to the fun.

Due to the times we passed up on the boardwalk and opted for a socially distant beach trip with our pup. We took a trip to Longport Beach, which was dog friendly! There were so many different happy dogs playing along the ocean and we had a great day playing on the beach with plenty of pups. So many pretty shore beaches located around the Sea View. Is there anything better between a cool pool and access to the beach?!
