Lemonade is cool and all but it’s Cinco De Mayo time people! This limemade makes a great juice or mocktail, a base for Margaritas or you can freeze into popsicles. Sometimes you need to switch it up from the traditional and give your beverages a fresh taste.
Our juicer is from a used Kitchen Applicance store here in Philadelphia but I’ve lined other options here and here. It’s the thing you don’t know you need until you have fresh juice on the weekends (think orange, lemonade and beyond).

For Cinco De Mayo recipes try my BBQ Chicken Skillet with tortilla chips and a tall glass of ice cold Limeade.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Lime Juice (about a dozen limes squeezed)
1 Cup Sugar
8 Cups Hot Water
Directions:
Using a juicer, squeeze the limes until you have 1 cup lime juice.
Mix all ingredients together and stir or shake well.
Serve over ice with a slice of lime.
