Paris in Philadelphia. A warm spring day. Bread, oh the bread.
When Three Lockharts Public Relations reached out to see if I could meet for a photoshoot the NEXT day, I hesitated if my schedule would allow it until I scrolled to where it said “Parc”. You see, Parc is quintessential Philadelphia. Lined along Rittenhouse Square, Parc is the perfect place for Mocha Lattes in the morning and pink Frose’s at night with girlfriends. Parc is a Philadelphia classic.
I arrived at Parc with wardrobe in tow to break (voted the city’s best) bread for the camera and sip on warm lattes and delicately crafted cocktails. Seriously, am I dreaming? Enter in what turns out to be one of my long time favorite photographers on the East Coast, Jennifer Chase.
Based in the D.C. area, Jennifer’s photographed some of the world’s top locations, top food and top chefs. Her Instagram feed is nothing short of aspirational drool worthy photographs and I was fortunate enough to get to work with her on this warm spring day at Parc. Jennifer is also an amazing mom to three, setting the example for us all that motherhood and living out your dreams IS not only plausible, but can be achievable through talent and hard work. Read: total bad-ass woman, not to mention, kind human.
Three Lockharts Public Relations is also run by amazing, can do it all Mother to 3, Dusty Lockhart.

“Parc is a lightly perfumed love letter to all the City of Light has to offer, written in a distinct Philadelphian hand.”
In my real life, I visit Parc several times a month. From morning client meetings over Mocha Lattes to lunch with friends old and new, Parc delivers the type of consistency you would expect with great service and a story to tell.
I think we all tend to overlook breakfast and Parc does a great job of bringing it back into perspective. Take time to start your day right. For breakfast meetings I like to keep it light with their berry filled yogurt parfait or the Oatmeal Brûlée. The oatmeal and caramelized brown sugar make a breakfast staple something amazing. Also on the list of favorites is of course the Avocado Toast and the Smoked Salmon Tartine. Lunch and Dinner provide endless pairings of delectable dishes.
Lastly I hope these photos inspire you to take a few loaves of bread to go after your meal and head into Rittenhouse Square to find a shady spot in the grass and enjoy Philadelphia’s gorgeous weather. It’s one weekend move you won’t regret.
I’m in love with the last photo! This place sounds great – I’ll have to check them out if I’m ever in Philly!
