The St. Laurent Social Club and Hotel in Asbury Park, New Jersey

On the Northern Shore of the Jersey Shore is a hotel that is a destination within itself. The St. Laurent Hotel and Social Club recently opened its doors in Asbury Park and I had the privilege of getting a sneak peak to share with you. With 20 uniquely designed rooms, backyard pool, restaurant and bar, the St. Laurent is absolutely stunning.

The original Tides Hotel was first built in 1886 and has been completely restored inside.

Staying at the St. Laurent Hotel

The St. Laurent Hotel has 20 boutique rooms built with modern function on the second and third levels of the historic walk up. With an invisible service model, they’ve nixed the front desk for true relaxation and autonomy.

The rooms offer flex space furniture. Beds turn up or down, desks pull out and plenty of seating available with stylist couches. The bathrooms offer plenty of light and as always, a good mirror moment. (don’t judge me, this is how an influencer judges a bathroom). The feeling I get from the hotel rooms is functional peace. Soft shades of sandy beige and whites merged with edgy blacks and grey make for a serene space.

The boards are just stunning. All of the rooms are carpeted. One thing to know with invisible service is that the historic hotel does not have an elevator and you will bring your own bags up. It’s beach, are you packing anything other than light?!

The Heirloom Restaurant at the Saint Laurent

The St. Laurent Social Club offers a fabulous restaurant, Heirloom.

Led by Chef David Viana, Heirloom offers daytime dining as well as dinner service. Service…by the pool? Yes please. Daytime service offers al la carte menu options including crudos, salads and sandwiches as well as a raw bar. In the evening, Heirloom offers a three-course prix fixe experience using the freshest local ingredients for New American dining that is globally inspired in our open kitchen.

I absolutely love the feel of an open kitchen. It gets your one step closer to the action in the kitchen, a true foodie’s delight. Ingredients are sourced locally with the Jersey Shore offering both bounties of land and shore.

The Bar

The lounge at the Saint Laurent Social club is a classic cocktail bar. Every element is gorgeous with many seating options. Of course there is the bar but you can also take a glass of wine to the large porch where fans and plants create the perfect ambiance or head out for frozen cocktails poolside.

The Backyard Pool

Cool off in the salt water outdoor temperature controlled pool. Poolside snacks and towel service are offered. The pool is surrounded by gorgeous greenery and the softest embroidered towels for a chic place to layout.
